Georgia Copper Flexible Copper Grounding Straps

Georgia Copper Flexible Copper Straps are solid and bendable metal straps that are used to build low-inductance, high performance grounding systems. The use of these copper straps provides the best grounding systems because they have greater surface area and lower inductance per foot than the equivalent cross-section of wire. Hams find all sorts of uses for copper straps, for superior antenna feedpoint connections as well as creating a bus for grounding. Equipment racks may be bonded to ground using copper straps. Don't rely on the rack frame to provide bonding. Tie all of the power supplies, tuners, racked amplifiers, and other equipment together with low-resistance copper. Especially useful for any application outdoors and for use directly in or near soils, flexible solid copper straps will maintain a proper, low-impedance connection long after small-gauge wires and tinned copper braids have weathered and disintegrated. Copper straps are specified by communications system designers and are used extensively for above-ground and underground connections to radiators, tower and ground rods for commercial equipment rooms, sheds, and tower installations. Professional communications engineers know the value of systems that employ copper straps. They are available in various widths and at a thickness to suite your application. If you are using wire or braid at feedpoint connections or to provide grounding, equipment bonding or other critical connections for your Amateur Radio station, consider upgrading to long-lasting and solid Georgia Copper Flexible Copper Straps from DX Engineering!

Times Microwave Systems® Bulk Coaxial Cables

Times Microwave Systems Bulk Coaxial Cables are recognized as superior RF cable products. The standard Times Microwave LMR® is a UV-resistant polyethylene jacketed cable designed for 20-year service in outdoor use. Depending upon size, LMR® cable has a solid copper or copper clad solid aluminum center conductor. Their bending and handling characteristics are significantly better than air-dielectric and corrugated hard line cables. LMR-DB® cable has a waterproofing compound to prevent moisture intrusion after a minor abrasion. Times Microwave Systems EZ Series and TC Series connectors are suitable for use on standard LMR® and LMR-DB® cables. Times Microwave Systems LMR® UltraFlex (UF) cables have a stranded bare copper center and a rubber jacket (black thermoplastic elastomer) designed for repeated bending. Times Microwave TC Series crimp connectors are designed for use on LMR® UltraFlex cables. LMR®'s RF shielding is typically 50 dB greater than standard coax. The copper shield and multi-ply bonded foil outer conductor is rated conservatively at greater than 90 dB. That's better than 180 dB isolation between two adjacent cables. A wide variety of connectors are available for LMR cables, including all common interface types, reverse polarity, and a choice of solder or non-solder center pins. Most LMR connectors employ crimped outer attachment using standard hex-crimp methods. Times Microwave Systems is a premier supplier of coaxial cable products worldwide. Only Times offers a range of products specifically developed to perform as needed in the most diverse range of environments. Times Microwave Systems has over 60 years of experience in building the highest-quality cables. Order LMR® coaxial cables from DX Engineering and put Times Microwave Systems Bulk Coaxial Cables to work for you! LMR® is a registered trademark of Times Microwave Systems.
