DX Engineering PS-3B PRO-STACK Three Antenna Phasing System

Dominate the airwaves with a DX Engineering PS-3B PRO-STACK Three Antenna Phasing System. Achieve ultimate array control and performance with three identical Yagi or Log Periodic directional antennas or use the system for vertical antennas in a phased array. DXE-PS-3B Pro-Stack Units are frequency independent broadband phasing devices that operate with three antennas on any bands, from 160 through 10 meters. Select from twelve combinations of in-phase and out-of-phase for pattern and null steering that wins contests and snags the rarest DX! DXE-PS-3B-P PRO-STACK Three Antenna Phasing Systems consist of one DXE-PS-3B Relay Unit and one DXE-EC-PS3 Control Console with manual 12-position rotary switch. This advanced system requires only 9-conductor control cable and standard 50-ohm feedlines of equal lengths to each antenna. DXE-PS-3B Pro-Stack Broadband Three Antenna Phasing Systems offer these compelling features: - Power Handling up to 5 kW - Broad band coverage on 160-10 meters - RF Shielded Weatherproof Housing - unique protection - DXE-PS-3B has High-RF tolerant, silver - PTFE SO-239 (UHF female) connectors - DXE-PS-3BN-P are high-quality silver-PTFE Type N female connectors - DXE-PS-3BDIN has Amphenol Connex 7-16 DIN Panel Connectors - Proven high current DX Engineering RF Relays - Safe 12 volt DC relay operation - MOV surge protection on control lines - RoHS compliant assembly DXE-PS-3B Broadband Phasing Units provide the greatest flexibility for three identical antennas. This relay unit contains a broad-bandwidth high-power 2:1 impedance matching transformer. This eliminates common requirements of using mixtures of 75 ohm and 50 ohm phasing or delay cables for impedance matching. Feedlines to each antenna from the relay unit must be the same cable of the same length and match the antenna impedance. So all of them need only be as long as the longest, to reach from the antennas to the relay unit. While it is best to have feedlines of equal electrical lengths, there is no need to closely phase-match cables; cutting the antenna feedlines made from the same coax to equal physical lengths is sufficient. To ensure lowest SWR, impedance matching automatically changes when any antenna is disabled. By switching between antennas at different heights above ground and/or changing the phase relationship between multiple antennas. The old standard system in stacks was to activate or disable specific antennas in the stack to change pattern. However, with the Pro-Stack system, gain remains higher when all antennas are driven and phase is changed, plus this system allows phase inversion as well as the ability to switch any single antenna out of the array. Signals arrive at your antenna system from different azimuth directions and different elevation angles. Adding a stacking phasing system to a rotational array adds the ability to steer the pattern of the antenna array in two planes, azimuth and elevation, and to move the major lobe and nulls. This is accomplished by switching between three identical antennas that are properly spaced for phasing, as well as changing the phase relationship between the antennas to effect changes in the null positons of their elevation patterns. The greatest advantage of equipping your array with a DX Engineering Pro-Stack is the ability to move debilitating pattern nulls away from signal arrival angles. While gain makes a marginal improvement, moving a 20 to 40 dB null can make a phenomenal change in reception. So, the Pro-Stack can make the difference between a barely readable and a strong signal, thus providing the performance edge needed to work rare DX - and win contests. The Narrow band SDR receiver emphasizes excellent receiver performance, while the Direct Sampling SDR provides a Digital Processing Real-Time Spectrum Scope. This stylish and well equipped model sets a new performance standard for the "affordable class" transceiver. Great for base and portable operations, the Yaesu FTDX10 is ready to order from DX Engineering. Click "More Details" for Features and Specifications Main Features of the Yaesu FTDX10 Compact HF/50 MHz 100W SDR Transceiver: - Narrow Band SDR with 3 types of roofing filters and phenomenal multi-signal receiving characteristics, as in the FTDX-101 series. The Down Conversion type receiver configuration with the first IF at 9 MHz has been adopted for the FTdx10. Excellent narrow bandwidth crystal roofing filters have the desired sharp "cliff edge" shape factor. Thanks to the Narrow Band SDR's latest circuit configuration including 500 Hz, 3 kHz and 12 kHz roofing filters and low-noise oscillator, the RMDR (Reciprocal Mixing Dynamic Range) reaches 116 dB or more, the close-in BDR (Blocking Dynamic Range) reaches 141 dB or more and 3rd IMDR (third-order Intermodulation Dynamic Range) reaches 109 dB or more in the 14 MHz band at 2 kHz separation. - 250MHz HRDDS (High Resolution Direct Digital Synthesizer) affords quiet and clear reception The local circuit of the new FTdx10 uses 250MHz HRDDS method same as the FTdx-101 series. Thanks to its characteristics that improve the C/N (carrier to noise) ratio and the careful selection of components in the design, the phase noise characteristic of the local signal achieves an excellent value of -145 dB or less in 14 MHz at 2 kHz separation. - 3DSS (3-Dimensional Spectrum Stream) on the 5-inch Full-Color TFT Display with Touch-Panel functionality The 5-inch Full-Color panel shows the 3DSS display. By touching the frequency display, the numeric keypad is displayed and the active band and frequency adjustment can be set by direct input. Frequency setting and adjustment can also be performed by turning the MAIN dial or touching the scope display. Similar to the FTdx-101 series, the MULTI display, RX operation status display, Center, FIX and Cursor modes are available. - Front Panel Designed for Superior Operating Efficiency - MPVD (Multi-Purpose VFO Outer Dial), is a large multi-purpose ring around the outside of the VFO dial that enables control of Clarifier, C/S (custom selection function) and recall of memory channels. - Remote Operation with optional LAN unit (SCU-LAN10) is possible with the optional SCU-LAN10 and SCU-LAN10 Network Remote Control Software. In addition to controlling the transceiver basic operations, the versatile scope displays enable sophisticated operations such as monitoring the band conditions on a large display at a location away from the ham shack by connection to a home LAN network. InnovAntennas 10M or 11M LFA-Q Loop-Fed Quad Beams

InnovAntennas 10M or 11M LFA-Q Loop-Fed Quad Beams from G0KSC represents significant development of LFA Yagis with a substantial difference: LFA-Q (Loop Fed Array Quad) Beams use top and bottom booms with through-boom LFA Yagi-style loops arranged vertically for every element. This very rugged design achieves better gain for a given length of boom and much lower noise for better signal quality compared to conventional Yagi antennas. InnovAntenna LFA-Q quad structure provides high directivity, eliminating unwanted spurious radiation. They achieve great side and rear rejection while retaining excellent gain, front-to-back and SWR bandwidth across the band. These are amazingly compact, high gain directional antennas, constructed to withstand serious weather conditions! Antennas of this series can be built and tuned to operate on a 500 kHz section of the 10 meter 28 MHz Amateur Band or on the 11 meter 27 MHz Citizens Band. The desired band is easily selected by changing the length of the outer element sections during construction – exact dimensions are provided in the instructions. The driven loop element feedpoint impedance is 50 ohms which allows a direct feed at high transmitting power. Vertical stacking of two or more antennas can significantly increase directivity, gain and signal quality; an interesting alternative when available space prevents the installation of long boom beam antennas. Just like other HF quads, LFA-Q vertical loop-fed quads are inherently quieter than a Yagi of the same size, making them a perfect choice for use in any location with high ambient noise level, such as a city or densely populated neighborhood. There is a 10M or 11M LFA-Q Loop-Fed Quad Beam version that matches your space, support, and wallet: - The 2-element economy version has loop spacing booms of only 2.3 ft. (70 cm); - The 3-element compact version booms are 10.5 ft. (3.2m) in length: - The 4-element performance model boom lengths are 26.9 ft. (8.2 m). Each LFA-Q is very stable mechanically, with mast clamps on each boom, top and bottom! Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, extensive modeling and testing, the durability and reliable performance of InnovAntennas 10M or 11M Loop-Fed Quad Beams is undeniable.
