DX Engineering PL-259 Connector Assembly Tools
DX Engineering PL-259 Connector Assembly Tools are designed for threading solder-type PL-259 connector sleeves onto the vinyl jacket of RG-8/U, RG-213/U and other similar-sized 0.405 nominal diameter cables. First, properly prepare the coaxial cable and then place the threaded sleeve of the PL-259 connector over the end of the coaxial cable. Start the coaxial cable end into the body of the connector and make sure that all of the strands of the center conductor of the cable are inserted into the center pin. Use these patented* DX Engineering PL-259 connector assembly tools and thread the connector body onto the stripped cable end. Tighten them until the PL-259 connector is fully seated on the coaxial cable. A visual guide at the end allows for easy viewing of the cable center conductor for proper depth installation. Sierra Radio Systems 20 Amp DC Power Relays feature Powerpole® Connectors for power in and out, and a 30 Amp relay for remotely switching the power to a device or a series of devices that all consume less than 20 amps. There is an LED to indicate the state of the relay. External connections for 12-volt power in, pull to ground for relay control and voltage measurements are provided via screw terminals. This relay is normally connected to the GPIO module and doesn't feature its own Device Control Network jack. Some assembly is required for this kit. The main board comes assembled with the 8-pin connector, power relay, and LED indicator all soldered to the board. The user will have to solder in the power pole connectors, install the mounting plate and the DIN rail clips. DX Engineering Type-N Connector Assembly Tools
DX Engineering Type-N connector assembly tools allow for the threading of the 2-piece Type-N solder-type connector sleeve onto the vinyl jacket of RG-8/U, RG-213/U and other similar sized cables. It's so easy! First, properly prepare the coaxial cable. Then place the prepared coaxial cable end into the body of the Type-N connector and make sure that all of the strands of the cable's center conductor are inserted into the center pin. Use the patented* DX Engineering Type-N connector assembly tools to thread the Type-N connector body onto the stripped cable end. Tighten the Type-N connector onto the coaxial cable, and when the coaxial cable is fully seated, remove the tools and check to make sure that the coaxial cable is fully seated on the Type-N connector.
