Icom IC-7610-32 HF Plus 50 MHz All Mode Transceivers
Icom IC-7610-32 HF Plus 50 MHz All Mode Transceivers feature internal component updates to ensure the highest performance from these true dual-receive transceivers. RF Direct Sampling takes you to the next level with advanced dynamic range performance and true dual receivers in the Icom IC-7610-32 transceiver. Whether it is poor band conditions or battling to pick out a call in a large pile-up, faint signals have always been a challenge for DXers and Contesters around the world. The difference between putting the QSO in the log or having to try another time is the combination of your skill as an operator and the capability of your receiver. One key factor, measured as RMDR, Reciprocal Mixing Dynamic Range, is the receiver's ability to pick out a faint signal in the presence of stronger, adjacent signals. The IC-7610-32 introduces dual RF direct sampling receivers that achieve 110dB RMDR, rivaling the performance of top-of-the-line transceivers. This model transmits on the Amateur bands 160 through 6 meters with 100 watts output on all modes, except 25 watts on AM, with full dual receiver coverage from 30kHz to 60MHz.

ICOM IC-R8600 Communications Receivers
ICOM IC-R8600 Communications Receivers represent the Next-Generation in World-Class Receivers! And the next step in SDR evolution! Why a Next-Generation, World-Class Receiver? While ordinary wide band receivers need to have dedicated demodulator circuits for each receive mode, the IC-R8600 utilizes advanced digital processes that demodulate the incoming signals. The IF signal is sent to the A/D converter, resulting in a digital signal, which is then processed by a high-speed FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and DSP to be restored to an analog audio signal. The received signal is processed to be demodulated according to the receive mode, including not only conventional analog communications in CW, AM, SSB, FM, WFM and FSK, but also advanced digital communications such as D-STAR, P25, NXDN, dPMR and DCR. Of course, this is easily achieved by using Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology. Here is some additional Information for ICOM's IC-R8600 Wideband Communications Receiver with Multiple Digital-Mode Decoders: * 10 kHz to 3 GHz general coverage (YES! Perseus22 4-Channel Direct Sampling Receiver
Perseus22 4-Channel Direct Sampling Receiver offers dual continuous frequency coverage from 10 kHz to 225 MHz with typical image rejection greater than 70dB, and excellent dynamic range on four independent receivers, two VLF-HF and two VHF, each with a dedicated antenna input. All four receiver channels are synchronously sampled by a high signal to noise ratio (s/n or SNR), 14-bit A/D converter and processed by a software defined digital down converter, implemented on an FPGA. The four output channels are routed to the host PC via the USB 3.0 controller, achieving synchronized true diversity reception and wide bandwidth IF applications. Supported modes are AM, SAM, QSAM, CW, CWrev, RTTY, RTTYrev, LSB, USB, IQ, FM, WFM (RDS in development), and DAB+. Presently available sample rates are 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 kSps, with the maximum span currently displayed at 1600 kHz. The frequency coverage of the Perseus22 is split-up into pairs of receiving channels (slices), which mean two receivers for the VLF-HF frequency range of 10 kHz to 70 MHz, and two receivers for VHF range from 70 MHz to 225 MHz. Each receiving pair is capable of diversity processing, which can reduce noise by orders of magnitude. Each of the four receiver channels include an analog RF front end equipped with attenuators, preselection filters and amplifiers. The receiver enclosure is machined from solid aluminum and finished with a fine, non-reflective black surface treatment. Perseus22 SDR multichannel software was created by a team formed by Elad and Microtelecom developers, with years of experience in developing software for Digital Signal Processing (DSP). This software takes advantage of an agile GUI interface platform, integrating past DSP design experience to accommodate future modules for demodulators and decoders. This advanced software features a simple and intuitive graphical user interface, simultaneously efficient and complete. The GUI is built using OpenGL, making it possible to leverage the GPU for everything related to the rendering of controls and windows. This allows the CPU to be tasked exclusively with digital processing of the radio signals, to offer revolutionary receiving features and capabilities. Presently this is a Windows software application. Thanks to the libraries used, Perseus22 management software can be implemented on other operating systems such as Linux, MacOS and even Android, with little effort. Perseus22 is shipped with: • AC to DC high-quality medical-grade switch mode power supply GSM40A09-P1J (with AC power cord); 9 VDC 4.45A Output 2.1 x 5.5mm; 80-264 VAC input, IEC320-C14 • USB 3.0 A to B cable, length 76 in.
