They are made from high quality, pultruded fiberglass tubing with a nominal 0.120 in. wall thickness and a smooth finish for long term use. The two shorter sets have 48 in. sections; the four piece set can extend to 15 ft., and the seven piece set can telescope to 25 ft. The two sets that can extend to 46 ft. tall consist of seven 90 in. sections. The standard set starts with a 2 in. OD base and the Heavy Duty 46 ft. model features a massive 3 in. OD bottom section. DX Engineering Cam Lock Clamp Kits provide fast and easy operation of these portable telescopic fiberglass masts. Multiple clamps are included with each kit, and are the type that permanently mount on the lower tube and allow fast telescopic mast extension and collapsing using the integral Cam Lock Lever that secures the smaller inside tube. Each Cam Lock Clamp kit includes a 3mm Allen wrench that fits all three cap screws, two for the lower tube mounting clamp and one on the upper lever adjustment. Once properly adjusted, the closed lever of the Cam Lock Clamp will hold the upper tube in place very securely. A vinyl cap is included to cover the top of the smallest fiberglass tube being clamped. WiMo Mast Tripods
WiMo Mast Tripods are made of quality aluminum and perfect for EMCOMM, Field Day, SOTA, POTA or IOTA. For any occasion where you need a fast and hassle-free temporary installation for your mast or pole, these tripods do the trick. They fold together in one simple move without any tools and collapse to a compact size, 25cm (10 in.) diameter, for easy transport. Masts are held within the tripods by two large tripod heads and secured by three screw knobs. Legs fold out to a 108cm (3.5 ft.) radius. Tripod head and legs are aluminum, and the threaded inserts and hardware are stainless steel. Choose tripod models that have either 120cm (47 in.) or 140cm (55 in.) mast clamp spacing and accommodate mast base sections of 25mm (1.00 in.) to 70mm (2.75 in.) or heavy-duty models that accommodate mast base sections of 50mm (2.00 in.) to 90mm (3.54 in.) Chameleon Antenna CFM-34 Heavy Duty Carbon Fiber Telescopic Masts are compatible with all Chameleon's portable wire and MPAS Ready antennas. This mast is self-supporting and generally does not require guying, although some situations may require the mast to be guyed (especially with a large or heavy antenna or during windy conditions). The CFM-34 HD is especially useful in places where there are no trees or where putting wire antennas in trees is not permitted. A unique feature of the mast is the 3/8-24 stud at the base, enabling it to be mounted on the long ground spike mount (CHA SPIKE MOUNT [21 in.]), a surveyor tripod with the CHA SURVEYOR-A adapter, or no mount at all with the Protective Cap -- giving you a variety of options for installation of the mast. The CHA CFM-34 HD offers exceptional strength, lightweight construction, and the capability to retract to under six feet, rendering it an ideal portable mast for various outdoor radio activities such as Parks on the Air (POTA), camping, and recreational vehicle use. WiMo Aluminum Telescoping Masts
WiMo Aluminum Telescoping Masts are convenient for many tasks. Made of a strong yet lightweight weather-resistant alloy, these metric-sized masts are primarily intended for temporary and portable use. They may also be used for long-term installations with the WiMo WMO-23050 Metal Guy Ring Kit. The versatile masts have a range of uses, including vertical antenna construction, installation of weather stations, and mounting of a security camera. They're made of slotted aluminum tubing that can be extended to the desired length. Mast models are available with extended lengths of 5 to 16 meters (16.4 to 52.5 ft.). Each section can be locked solidly in place with the attached clamps. Load capacity of the masts is determined by the clamping length and height; depending on the diameter, weights up to 4 kg (8.818 lbs.) or more are possible. The maximum extension length of each section is limited by a marking ring at approximately 20cm (7.874 in.) above the bottom of the tube. The sizes of the telescoping aluminum tubing are in 5mm (0.197 in.) increments, with a nominal wall thickness of 2mm (0.079 in.).
