DX Engineering XB-5 Hexx Beam 5-Band Wire Element Kit is a component of parts and assemblies that are used to construct the directional XB-5 HF Antenna. It features innovation and convenience for the assembler of this high performance antenna. Here are the items included in this kit: - Wire Elements made from high quality AWG 14 stranded copper with a relaxed black PVC insulation for longevity - Band specific Driven Elements and Reflectors are pre-cut and pre-assembled with color coded and printed shrink tubing near one end for easy identification - Floating Element Wire Guides – studded element and P-clamps with nylon guide tubes that secure the elements to the Hexx Beam fiberglass spreaders while allowing independent movement to reduce strain - Innovative Element Spacers, five pairs of band specific lengths made of Acetal rods that are cut and drilled for specific band spacing. Closely spaced holes secure driven and reflector wire element ends with a simple serpentine routing. This allows easy adjustments of element lengths if tuning is necessary. DX Engineering TB300 Advanced Design Thrust Bearings
DX Engineering TB300 Advanced Design Thrust Bearings offer a major advance in mechanics that solve the issues with competing tower mast bearings that wear out too quickly They are specifically designed for a vertically mounted 1.5 to 2.0 inch OD tower mast installed for the efficient rotation of directional HF, VHF, UHF and SHF antennas. Introduced in early 2021, the upgraded DX Engineering TB300 features high quality stainless steel ball bearings and stainless steel races that keep the bearings very clean. Compared with ANY OTHER thrust bearings, our TB300 thrust bearings are firm and strong with an ultra-low rotation resistance that has to be seen to be believed. These heavy-duty bearing assemblies are cast from high-strength zinc-aluminum alloy, precision machined and assembled to last for the life of the tower installation. DX Engineering Thrust Bearings are 7 in. diameter overall and mate with tower bearing plates and accessory plates for ROHN or Amerite towers. DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps
DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps are designed to be used where maximum torque handling is required on aluminum, steel, Chromoly steel or stainless steel mast tubing, significantly improving the connection between the rotator and the directional antenna rotating mast over other types of mast clamps. With the choice of two Super Duty Saddle Clamps or the "HD" model with three Super Duty Saddle Clamps, these remarkable rotator mast clamps are available in three sizes; for a 2 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-2 and -2HD), a 2.5 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-2-5 and -2-5HD) and a 3 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-3 and -3HD), intended for use only on tubing, not for fractional sized pipe. Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps are designed and manufactured to mate with the DX Engineering DXE-RT4500HD Heavy Duty Rotator. Each powder coated steel Super Duty Mast Clamp vertical plate has holes for the applicable Super Duty Clamps and the base plates have an integral weep channel to ensure moisture is not trapped in the mast. These mast clamps are complete, supplied with two (standard) or three (HD) Super Duty Saddle Clamps, stainless steel backing plates, rugged 8-18 stainless steel 3/8-16 hex mounting and clamp bolt sets, with all fastener hardware included. Unlike stamped or machined-type clamps, Super Duty Saddle Clamps are cast from a rugged aluminum alloy that grips tubing with a special textured surface for an incredibly secure fit that resists torque, wind and weather. All three sizes, DXE-SDMC-2/-2HD, DXE-SDMC-2.5/- 2.5HD and DXE-SDMC-3/-3HD can be used on Rohn 45 and larger towers. Only the 2 inch mast versions DXE-SDMC-2 and -2HD will fit inside Rohn 25G towers. Carlson HD Drive on Mast Mount Car Stand Packages consist of two heavy duty steel main components: the Base Plate and the Pipe Stand. There is only one size Base Plate, but the Pipe Stand comes in three different diameters: 2.0 inches, 2.5 inches, and 3.0 inches.
