WiMo Aluminum Telescoping Masts
WiMo Aluminum Telescoping Masts are convenient for many tasks. Made of a strong yet lightweight weather-resistant alloy, these metric-sized masts are primarily intended for temporary and portable use. They may also be used for long-term installations with the WiMo WMO-23050 Metal Guy Ring Kit. The versatile masts have a range of uses, including vertical antenna construction, installation of weather stations, and mounting of a security camera. They're made of slotted aluminum tubing that can be extended to the desired length. Mast models are available with extended lengths of 5 to 16 meters (16.4 to 52.5 ft.). Each section can be locked solidly in place with the attached clamps. Load capacity of the masts is determined by the clamping length and height; depending on the diameter, weights up to 4 kg (8.818 lbs.) or more are possible. The maximum extension length of each section is limited by a marking ring at approximately 20cm (7.874 in.) above the bottom of the tube. DX Engineering ATK65A Telescoping Aluminum Antenna Tubing Kits employ twelve aluminum tubes that may be used as rope-guyed vertical radiators. Intended for portable or temporary operations, these kits may also be used in a well-guyed permanent vertical antenna installation. They're a good DIY vertical antenna element for Field Day, DXpeditions, RVs, SOTA, camping, and more. Guying is required (three or four levels of rope guys are needed when these kits are extended beyond a 30 ft. height), so guy rings are included. ATK65A kits consist of 11- 6-ft. sections and one 3-ft. section of DX Engineering's rugged 6063-T832 drawn aluminum tubing. The kit also includes all required stainless steel element clamps. The bottom section is the 2.0-in. outside-diameter heavy-wall (0.120 in. thick) that mates up to 2-1/8 in. diameter tubing with an 8 in. overlap, and then back to 2-in. diameter tubing with a 5 in. overlap. Each sections continues the element taper down to 7/8-in. diameter at the top. The overall length of the assembled sections can reach up to 780 inches, or 65 feet. These kits are well suited as vertical radiators for your custom-designed single vertical antenna or in multiples in a two or four element array. They may be set to resonate on any HF band at any length up to 65 feet by simply removing or telescoping the sections and clamping them at the desired length. NOTE: This vertical antenna tubing kit is NOT intended to be used as a support for other antennas. Alpha Antenna Low Profile Lite HF Base Vertical Antennas cover the 10 to 80 meters amateur bands and are considered the 'lite' version of the ProMaster Heavy Duty HF Base Vertical Antenna. This antenna system features an easy-to-deploy telescopic stainless-steel whip, which can be retracted when winds of more than 50MPH are expected. The total length of the 17.75ft. vertical whip and the 25.25ft. horizontally sloped element equals the magic number of 43ft., a length used by many excellent systems for multi-band HF antenna operation from 80 to 10 meters. The last element is an 8ft. grounded counterpoise wire, which completes the circuit by creating a static drain for noise, making it easier to hear other stations.

DX Commander Venture HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas
DX Commander Venture HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas are designed for portable operation. The design is built on the proven success of other DX Commander antennas but optimized for portable operation. Efficiently resonant on 40, 20 and 15 meters, the DX Commander Venture is designed for some of the most popular bands for portable operation. Using the same principals as a fan dipole, with several vertical wire elements of various resonant lengths attached to a common feedpoint. The Wire elements and any supporting ropes are arranged on spacer plates with "speed slots" around the non-conductive fiberglass mast. When a proper radial system is attached to the radial plate, the Venture will achieve quarter-wave vertical performance with natural resonance and low SWR on the bands it's configured for with no antenna tuner required. Band hopping DXing and simultaneous multi-band multiplex operations are supported. The Venture is rated at 1500W SSB/CW, 400W FT8 and other digital modes. The Venture antenna is only 23 feet (7 m) so setup is a cinch in the field. SWR bandwidth is typically 300 kHz on the bands the antenna is cut for. The Venture, while being designed for 40, 20 and 15 meters, can be used on 10 and 6 meters with an antenna tuner. DX Commander Venture Features and Specifications: Ground Post: Supplied with a Fiberglass Ground post. Alloy Plates: Aircraft quality 5251 alloy, laser cut in England before deburring to give that "hammered" look, which eliminates sharp edges and provides a nice finish. Spreader Plates: Marine-grade high-density polyethylene sheet material from USA, charcoal-gray, UV and environmentally stabilized to withstand the harshest of marine and high RF conditions. Spreader Plates are machine cut in England to DX Commander specifications. Shock Cord: Marine Grade shock-cord, with a UV and RF stable Dyneema woven exterior. Hardware: Kit includes Stainless Steel bolts, wing nuts, and spade connectors. Coaxial Connector: UHF Female SO-239 coaxial connector, nickel plated brass with PTFE dielectric. Fiberglass Poles: Made to DX Commander specifications in a spiral wound fiber, high-quality epoxy and paint finish. DX10 Wire: Made in England for DX Commander, DX10 wire has an outstanding reputation for both strength and in particular, extreme flexibility. The insulation is "arctic grade" and still flexible down to -40° F. Originally designed for military use, this insulation is particularly strong but highly flexible and the stranded annealed copper wire is approximately 19 AWG and is made from 24 strands of 0.008 in. (0.2mm) wire. All DX Commander Venture Antenna Kits come with everything you need (except the patio): • Rapide2 Mast – 23 ft. (7m) Extended Height • Supplied with a 1.50 in. (38mm) Fiberglass Ground Post • The DX Commander Ground Plate – 0.128 in. (3mm) thick laser cut 5251 alloy, with the hole for the included SO-239 assembly and 6 pre-drilled holes for the ground radials. Use up to 4 wires per connector and you can double up on connectors to achieve 48 radials total. • The Driven Plate – 0.128 in. (3mm) thick with pre-drilled holes for the three bands that the antenna is cut for. • The Venture kit comes with 3 spreader plates with speed slots to help facilitate setup in the field. One of the spreader plates has three holes to attach guy ropes to. • 328 ft.
