PowerFilm Foldable Solar Panels

PowerFilm Foldable Solar Panels are perfect for keeping your batteries topped off when operating portable, or for any activity where you want to keep batteries charged without the noise of a generator. The weather resistant, nylon fabric on the back side of the panels provides protection regardless of if the panel is in use or whether it's presently being stored. While the cloth backing is weather resistant, if it gets wet it is best to let it dry before you fold the panel up and put it away. Grommets on the corners of the panel help secure it in place to prevent damage in high winds. These high tech thin and flexible panels will continue to provide output even when damaged. They generate electricity even in cloudy, shady, and hazy environments and outperform other solar panels in low-light environments. A charge controller is not required if the battery capacity is 100x greater (or more) than the panel output. For example, a 100Ah battery would not need a charge controller if the panel output is 1A or less. If a charge controller is required, it should be sized according to the output of the panel. Available in a range of output wattages from 20 to 220 Watts there's sure to be an option to meet your specific needs.
