M2 Antennas 2MCP14 2 Meter Circularly Polarized Beams

M2 Antennas 2MCP14 2 Meter Circularly Polarized Beams are the right choice for satellite operations with basic light-duty azimuth-elevation rotator systems. They feature a specially configured driven elements and phasing feeder system and are typically assembled to achieve right-hand circular polarization needed for most satellite operations. An optional polarity switch is available. A single feedline is used to connect 2MCP14 antennas to the 2 meter section of the satellite transceiver. A second feedline typically connects a mated 436CP30 70cm Circularly Polarized Beam, mounted at the other end of a cross boom, to the same satellite transceiver. 2MCP14 beams are light, medium performance circularly polarized antenna designed to work across the two meter amateur band. Optimum match and gain are between 144 & 147 MHz for the satellite band. Computer design techniques help keep spurious side lobes low down for optimum signal to noise ratios. This antenna features CNC machined, O-ring and silicone-gel sealed driven element assemblies that are common to all M2 Yagi antennas. They insure years of trouble free performance regardless of weather. M2 Antennas 2MCP14 2 Meter Circularly Polarized Beams are available for your satellite capable system, right here at DX Engineering.

InnovAntennas LFA3-HG 50 MHz 5-Element Yagi

InnovAntennas 50 MHz LFA3-HG 5-Element Yagi was designed to have the best gain on a relatively short boom. This antenna offers forward gain of 10.7 dBi (16.2 dBi at 10m above ground) and an exceptional 31 dB front-to-back rating with SWR less than 1.4:1 in the 50-50.4 MHz range. The low profile LFA3 dipole achieves a significant reduction of noise, allowing clear reception of much weaker signals, a key component of operational improvements and success. The LFA3-HG has a 12.8 ft. boom and a low 2 sq. ft. wind load, making this beam ideal for typical 6 meter stations as well as for stacking to maximize gain, especially when available space restricts the use of a longer boom Yagi. It features a 1.25 in. (32mm) 16-guage square aluminum tubing boom for rugged reliability and low weight. This antenna is made with single piece 5/8 inch (15.88mm) element centers, 1/2 inch (12.7mm) tips with loop ends made with 3/8 inch (9.525mm). The antenna has fully insulated elements which will ensure continuous, high performance for many years to come. The introduction of the loop-shaped and phase-fed dipole achieves considerably fewer side lobes in the Yagi directional pattern. With less energy absorbed from the sides and from behind, these antennas becomes quieter and they achieve a higher forward gain. The 50 MHz Monoband LFA Yagis from G0KSC represent a significant advancement in the development of Yagi antennas.

EAntenna VHF and UHF Directional Antennas

EAntenna VHF and UHF Directional Antennas include exciting new offerings for the 50, 144 and 430 MHz bands. Weak-signal enthusiasts will enjoy using these high quality beams with superior specs for SSB, CW, digital and satellite. Here are the original low-noise Loop Fed Array mono-band beams or Optimized Wideband Arrays for VHF and UHF. Plus there are super specialized 2 meter or 70 cm Cross Polarized Yagis and the compact EAntenna 6 meter Moxon antenna that has only a 3 ft. boom! NOTE: The dual-band beams for 2 meters and 70 cm designed by DK7ZB cover 144 to 146 MHz and 420 to 440 MHz, which is the entire band in Europe. In the USA they are suitable for use on SSB, CW, digital and satellite as a horizontally polarized antenna. They will NOT function for the American FM Simplex and Repeater band sections of 146 - 148 MHz and 440 -450 MHz. DX Engineering recommends antennas manufactured by EAntenna because their attention to detail is meticulous! These Yagi, log periodic and rotatable dipole antennas are built with only the highest quality stainless steel hardware and aircraft grade aluminum. As you look through their selections, be aware that advanced, cutting-edge computer modeling and optimization techniques were used to produce EAntenna premier HF beams and state-of-the-art VHF and UHF antennas. Their mechanical designs are very robust in every way, as most are rated for at least 100 MPH wind survival. To see additional information about each antenna, click on the "More Details" link on the antenna of interest. Then click the Specifications tab to see all of the physical and electrical characteristics of that antenna. EAntenna products are offered exclusively in North America by DX Engineering. Plus we can ship internationally! When you are making plans for a new antenna at your station, plan to look right here for the outstanding solutions by EAntenna, "The Best Choice for Your Antenna System!" NOTE: Manuals are normally supplied bilingual. If your manual lacks an English section, contact DX Engineering for an English version. IMPORTANT: EAntenna VHF and UHF Loop Fed Antennas are intended to be mounted horizontally for SSB and CW operation which is at the lower frequency end of the bands, NOT on FM. For example, the 2 meter LFA should be mounted horizontally and is tuned for use on 144-146 MHz and is not intended for FM use on 146-148 MHz. Additionally, the DK7ZB design EAntenna dual-band beams for 2 meters and 70 cm cover only 144-146 MHz and 420-440 MHz, the same European frequency range, and so they are not suitable for FM use in North America. EAntenna Cross Polarized LFA beams have both horizontal and vertical elements with only 144.0 - 144.5 MHz coverage designed specifically for EME or satellite enthusiasts.
