DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps

DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps are designed to be used where maximum torque handling is required on aluminum, steel, Chromoly steel or stainless steel mast tubing, significantly improving the connection between the rotator and the directional antenna rotating mast over other types of mast clamps. With the choice of two Super Duty Saddle Clamps or the "HD" model with three Super Duty Saddle Clamps, these remarkable rotator mast clamps are available in three sizes; for a 2 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-2 and -2HD), a 2.5 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-2-5 and -2-5HD) and a 3 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-3 and -3HD), intended for use only on tubing, not for fractional sized pipe. Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps are designed and manufactured to mate with the DX Engineering DXE-RT4500HD Heavy Duty Rotator. Each powder coated steel Super Duty Mast Clamp vertical plate has holes for the applicable Super Duty Clamps and the base plates have an integral weep channel to ensure moisture is not trapped in the mast. These mast clamps are complete, supplied with two (standard) or three (HD) Super Duty Saddle Clamps, stainless steel backing plates, rugged 8-18 stainless steel 3/8-16 hex mounting and clamp bolt sets, with all fastener hardware included. Unlike stamped or machined-type clamps, Super Duty Saddle Clamps are cast from a rugged aluminum alloy that grips tubing with a special textured surface for an incredibly secure fit that resists torque, wind and weather. All three sizes, DXE-SDMC-2/-2HD, DXE-SDMC-2.5/- 2.5HD and DXE-SDMC-3/-3HD can be used on Rohn 45 and larger towers. Only the 2 inch mast versions DXE-SDMC-2 and -2HD will fit inside Rohn 25G towers. NOTE: Whenever the planned installation of mast mounted rotatable antennas will have a total wind load or wind exposure rating of 18 square feet or more, the use of a 2.5 or 3.0 inch OD mast with a DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamp is highly recommended.
