American Beauty Resistance Soldering Systems
American Beauty Resistance Soldering Systems offer the most advanced and complete line of resistance soldering systems available anywhere in the world. You'll find power ratings between 100 and 3,000 watts, and various tool styles and compositions. You may use them to work on anything from tiny hobby/craft projects to soldering large copper plumbing. Here are just a few of the advantages: The concentrated heat reduces soldering time by many times over. Poor solder joints are often the result of insufficient heat throughout the joint, creating weak spots; these systems eliminate such problems. Traditional soldering methods may introduce too much heat into surrounding areas, damaging critical components or de-soldering previously soldered joints. Using resistance soldering systems will improve quality and reduce waste! Resistance soldering systems are ergonomic and versatile. Lightweight hand pieces cool within seconds, greatly reducing the likelihood of repetitive strain-injury and virtually eliminating the burn risk for the user. Versatile systems allow for easy access to restricted areas on circuit boards and inside cabinets. Resistance soldering systems can save you money! Instant heat means you're not paying to heat a soldering station all day long. Electrodes last twice as long as soldering tips and don't require constant re-wetting, thereby reducing consumable waste. American Beauty Resistance Soldering Systems get the job done. Stop trying to perform your difficult soldering operations the same old way with the same old tools. Contact DX Engineering to own of these American Beauty Resistance Soldering Systems today!

American Beauty Soldering Tool Parts and Components
If American Beauty's soldering tools were of typical quality, then they wouldn't offer an extensive list of soldering tool parts and components. In fact, their tools are designed to withstand the stress of production-line usage in the most difficult and rigorous industrial environments. However, as those familiar with soldering are well aware, soldering tools require regular maintenance and the occasional replacement of consumable parts. Historically, soldering-tool manufacturers had whole departments set up to service tools for their customers. As budgets tightened and these departments were eliminated, tools that were meant to last a decade or more were tossed in the trash, just like the cheap imports. American Beauty soldering tools were designed from the beginning to be serviceable! Their heating elements, connectors, handles, cord sets, foot switches, electrodes, and many other kinds of parts are replaceable. American Beauty even offers Maintenance kits and instructions on how to care for, and extend the life of, their tools! To save money on tools, you need to buy a quality tool that's right for the job...as well as serviceable. American Beauty soldering tool parts and components are now available from DX Engineering and will provide the means for you to keep your soldering tools working (and in great shape) for a long, long time!

ACOM ASW-120 Remote Antenna Switch and Selector Sets
ACOM ASW-120 Remote Antenna Switch and Selector Sets contain two essential components: the 2000SW Remote Antenna Switch and the 2000S Automatic Antenna Selector, pre-set internally for 120 VAC with a USA plug installed on the power cord. This combination system provides complete antenna selection automation when interfaced with the Acom 2000A Automatic HF Linear Amplifier, or it may be used as a manually or PC controlled antenna switching system. The included 2000SW Remote Antenna Switch is a rugged, high-quality weatherproof outdoor relay unit with 10 antenna ports and 1 common port, all PTFE UHF female (SO-239) connectors useable up to 60 MHz. At low SWR this switch handles up to 5,000 W at 30 MHz and 3,600 watts at 50 MHz. Hot-switching protection is provided and unused antenna inputs are automatically grounded for surge suppression. Relay water intrusion protection is at the IP53 level. These remote switches will tolerate a very wide temperature range and operate on a control voltage range of 24 to 31 VDC, as supplied by the 2000S Automatic Antenna Selector. The included 2000S Automatic Antenna Selector, as shipped in the ASW-120 package by DX Engineering, has a power cord terminated with a NEMA 5-15P plug for 120 AC. No additional power supply is required. The system uses a 4 bit BCD selector signal and incorporates a feedback signal to the controller. Connection of the 2000S Selector to the 2000SW Switch requires a minimum of a 7-conductor shielded control cable of AWG-24 (CAT5e) which is sufficient to about 165 feet. A longer control cable will require a larger wire gauge. Connectors included require soldering. Also included are a 3-meter length of 7-conductor control cable and 1 interface cable for connecting the controller to the ACOM 2000 amplifier. Here are the Specifications of the ACOM ASW-120 Remote Antenna Switch and Selector Sets: * Operating Frequency: 0 to 60 MHz. * 10x UHF female (SO-239) PTFE connectors * Power Handling vs. SWR: 0 to 30 MHz: 5000W at 1:1; up to 2500W at 2:1; up to 1600W at 3:1 * Power Handling vs. SWR: up to 60 MHz: 3600W at 1:1; up to 1800W at 2:1; up to 1200W at 3:1 * Mismatch VSWR: for 0 to 1.8 MHz better than 1.02:1; 1.8 to 30 MHz better than 1.08:1; 30 to 60 MHz better than 1.20:1 * Crosstalk isolation: for 0 to 1.8 MHz-better than -100dB; 1.8 to 30 MHz -better than -70dB; 30 to 60 MHz better than -66dB * Relay Changeover Time: Less than 150 milliseconds including any relay chatter * Operating temperature range: minus 30 to plus 60 degrees C * Water Intrusion: IP53 * Power Supply: 120 VAC, NEMA 5-15P three-prong power plug (USA) * Total shipping weight 6kg (products 4kg) NOTE: This Acom ASW-120 Remote Antenna Switch and Selector Set is available from DX Engineering ONLY as a 120 VAC system. The internal selection is pre-switched to 120 VAC and the power cord is pre-wired with a NEMA 5-15P three-prong grounded plug, as a convenience for our North American customers. This negates mention in the 2000S Manual of "Normally the unit is supplied with Voltage Selector set for…240 V." DX Engineering TFS4 Series B Transmit Four Square Systems
DX Engineering TFS4 Series B Transmit Four-Square Systems bring together the highest level of engineering excellence with the practical realities of operator convenience and ease of installation. These four-square hybrid systems are available in versions for the 160, 80, and 40 meter bands. They can be easily dropped into your quarter-wave spaced vertical 4-antenna array to provide optimum directional control. They allow the operator to receive or transmit with 5.5 dB gain in any one of four directions with a 20+ dB front-to-back ratio for interference reduction from unwanted directions. You can also switch to a single Omni-directional pattern with a push of a single button. This combination permits you to listen "all-around," unhindered by pattern nulls, and then select the best direction for signal reception and noise rejection. TFS4 Series B Transmit Four Square Systems are designed for use with four monoband vertical antennas placed at the corners of a square that is one-quarter wavelength on a side. The vertical element must be ungrounded and resonant in the desired band, and should be directly base-fed by the coaxial cable phasing lines from the centrally located controller (shunt-fed towers or radiating elements cannot be used). DX Engineering has several vertical antennas that are well suited for this application. Above all, a properly designed and installed radial system is necessary for top antenna performance, whether it's a single vertical or a full array. DX Engineering strongly recommends our optional Q75- series quarter wavelength cables constructed from our own high quality DXE-11U coax. It features a waterproof PE jacket, foam dielectric and has a velocity factor of 82 percent. These cables are electronically pruned to a precise electrical length derived from your choice of center operating frequency, terminated with hand-soldered silver-PTFE PL-259 connectors and weather-sealed with shrinkable tubing. Finally, each cable is tested for high voltage breakdown for maximum reliability and power handling. Since the transmit power is divided by the controller, the coaxial cable can handle QRO power with ease. If you already have a four-square array with a hybrid controller and would like to upgrade to improved performance and the Omni feature, the DX Engineering TFS4 Series B Transmit Four Square Systems are a direct transplant. BCD logic switching allows for the use of a 4-wire control cable to perform the necessary switching functions when powered by the included control console. Features: * Classic hybrid design is easy to install * Four directions plus Omni for versatile operation * 5 kW CW power rating for high reliability * Hot switching lock-out to disable amplifier while switching * Drop-in replacement for COMTEK systems * Proven DX Engineering RF relays for high performance * RF Shielded, high impact thermoplastic cover offers unique protection * Relays cycle during Power-On to ensure clean contacts Note: Whenever the DX Engineering "Documentation" tab is available, please look at the associated files for additional product information. Four-square systems work great! DX Engineering TFS4 Series B Transmit Four-Square Systems provide the heart of a modern phased array.
