Phillystran HPTG-I High Performance Broadcast Tower and Antenna Guy Lines
Phillystran HPTG-I High Performance Broadcast Tower and Antenna Guy Lines are constructed from tough Aramid fiber. Aramid fiber features excellent dielectric properties and a strength-to-weight ratio five times greater than steel guy wire! Add to that their low-stretch and low-creep characteristics—and you have an ideal material for broadcast tower guys. Today's Phillystran tower guying systems based on Aramid fiber are the result of many years of real-world experience. Phillystran HPTG-I systems eliminate the problems associated with EHS steel cable, such as electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), signal suppression, directional irregularities and white-noise arcing. ACOM 2000A Automatic HF Linear Amplifiers
ACOM 2000A Automatic HF Linear Amplifiers are the world's most advanced amplifiers designed specifically for hams. These amplifiers were the first to include fully-automatic tuning and sophisticated digital-control capabilities. ACOM's revolutionary 2000A amplifiers deliver maximum legal power in all modes and operate on all amateur HF bands 160 to 10 meters. Be sure to read the SPECIAL Note, below. These amplifiers follow your transceiver's band and frequency automatically in far less than a second. No special cables are required: Just a "dit" on CW or "AHH" on SSB is enough for instant band and band segment changes. ACOM 2000A amps break every amateur band into multiple frequency segments. The user can store up to ten (10) sets of tuning adjustments for every frequency segment - allowing individual settings for multiple antennas on each band. By completely eliminating time-consuming tune-up procedures, ACOM 2000A linear amplifiers give contesters a real edge. At the core of the ACOM 2000A is a classic HF amplifier design that employs two matched 4CX800A high-performance ceramic-metal tetrodes for maximum efficiency. ACOM uses these rigorously tested tubes with today's most advanced digital control technology to create an amplifier with outstanding performance, features and reliability. Measured third and fifth order IMD are typically 40dB and 45dB down, respectively. Typical harmonic emissions are as low as -55dBc (second) and below -70dBc (for third and above). Thus, probability of QRM, BCI or TVI is dramatically minimized. ACOM's 2000A remote diagnostic features and modular design ease fault isolation and repair. The protection system makes damaging one of these amplifiers difficult. Information on the 12 most recent protection trips is stored in an INFO BOX for remote diagnostics via phone line, PC, and Internet. Full break-in (QSK) is based on a built-in vacuum relay. Transmit/receive switching sequence is secured by a dedicated microprocessor. * Frequency Coverage: All Amateur Bands 1.8-29.7 MHz * Power Output: 1,500W PEP, 1,500W continuous carrier (the external auxiliary fan must be installed for operations of continuous carrier transmissions longer than 15 minutes * Hum and noise: Better than 35dB below rated output * Harmonics Output Suppression: Better than 50dB below rated output * Input and Output Impedance: Nominal values: 50 Ohm unbalanced output; Input circuit: broadband, VSWR less than 1.3:1, 1.8-29.7 MHz Amateur Bands (no tuning, no switching); Relay Bypass Throughput: VSWR less than 1.1:1, 1.8-29.7 MHz Amateur Bands * Automatic Tuning: Load Impedance Matching - less than 3 seconds; Band Change - less than one second; Segment Change - less than 0.2 seconds * RF Gain: 14.5dB, frequency response less than 0.5dB (50 to 60W drive power for rated output) * ALC: grid-current derived, -11V max, rear panel adjustable * Primary Power: 180-264V (200, 220 and 240V nominal taps, 10 percent tolerance), 50-60Hz, single phase, 3,500VA consumption at rated output * SPECIAL Note: Order part number AOM-2000A to wire the AC plug yourself; order part number AOM-2000A-240 for pre-wired 240 volt operation * Complies CE safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements, as well as FCC regulations * Size: W 17.3 x 19.7 x H 7.1 in. ACOM 2020S Solid-State 1.8-54 MHz Linear Amplifiers
ACOM 2020S Solid-State 1.8-54 MHz Linear Amplifiers are state-of-the-art 1500W Solid State linear amplifiers that deliver maximum legal power in all modes and operate in all Amateur Radio HF bands from 160 through 6 meters. This amplifier is extremely operator-friendly with a remote console unit (RCU) that features a high-resolution color touch screen. The 2020S amplifier is transceiver-independent, meaning that it is compatible with all transceiver models. With no need for special signals, only ground on transmit and RF drive power, any transceiver may be used. The 2020S monitors the input signal frequency with its built-in frequency counter and automatically switches bands when there is no transceiver frequency interface cable. However, when interfaced with a transceiver with CAT, COM or CI-V capability, the 2020S tracks the transceiver operating frequency and automatically changes bands accordingly. The Acom 2020S supports direct Remote Control via the Internet with an integrated web interface and built-in Ethernet RJ45 LAN port or Wi-Fi adapter. The Acom 2020S amplifier employs two powerful modules in a power splitting/combining technique that has been time-proven in high-power commercial applications to provide sufficient output headroom. The input and output ports are isolated from each other, reducing intermodulation and improving resistance to self-excited oscillation and reliability. A broadband input circuit provides a perfect transceiver load with SWR below 1.2 without re-tuning throughout the entire frequency range from 1.8 to 54 MHz. The two final PA stages use a rugged MRFX1K80HR5 or equivalent LDMOS transistor. The 2020S features built-in intelligence that continuously monitors system health and protection circuits in all modes. Also, the operator can monitor eleven different parameters of amplifier operation. Detailed fault data is stored in the amplifier's memory and shows up to 55 parameters for each of the last 28 hard-fault protection trips. Compact and lightweight construction with a built-in switching-mode power supply that operates within a power mains voltage range of 200-240 VAC, ±10% (180-264 VAC limiting values), with no internal switch over. The consumed current is purely sinusoidal, power factor corrected and in-rush current limited, which makes the operation of this amplifier from unstable AC mains and generators easy and trouble-free.
