DX Engineering XB-5 Hexx Beam Mast Mount Kit

The all-new DX Engineering XB-5 Hexx Beam Mast Mount Kit, DXE-XB-5-MMK, is a component of the DXE-XB-5 Hexx Beam, used in the initial assembly and final mounting of the antenna onto a user supplied mast of 1.25 to 2.00 in. OD.

The DXE-XB-5-MMK Mast Mount includes:
- One Center Post Aluminum Mounting Tube, 1.50 in. OD for the XB-5 Hexx Beam
- One Element Clamp for use on the Center Post during assembly.
- One Mast Mount Plate, Heavy-Duty, 1/4 inch formed aluminum 16 x 5.125 in. with inline clamp holes
- Two DXE-SAD-150A U-Bolt Saddle Clamps for the Hexx Beam Mounting Tube
- Two DXE-CAVS-2P V-Bolt Saddle Clamps for the user supplied 1.25 to 2.00 in. OD mast.

Additional lower holes accommodate two optional DXE-SAD-300B U-Bolt Saddle Clamps for only a 3.00 in. OD mast, or two DXE-CAVS-3P for a 2.00 to 3.00 in. OD mast, or two DXE-SSVC-3P Clamps for a 2.375 to 3.000 in OD steel mast

This DXE-XB-5-MMK Mast Mount Kit may also be used with the supplied Saddle Clamps to create a short extension at the top of a 1.25 to 2 in. OD mast with an optional 1.50 in. OD only tubing to mount a small VHF or UHF beam or vertical. This kit cannot be added to the top of any Hexx Beam.

This aluminum plate is available separately as DXE-MTMP, to mount a 1.25 in. OD short upper mast. The two upper holes on this plate accommodate Stainless Steel V-Bolt Saddle Clamps model DXE-SSVC-150P for an upper mast mounting a range of 1.00 to 1.50 in. OD steel. The lower inner holes will accommodate two DXE-SSVC-2P Stainless Steel V-Bolt Saddle Clamps for a 1.00 to 2.00 in. OD steel mast, or the lower outer holes accept two DXE-SSVC-3P Stainless Steel V-Bolt Saddle Clamps for a 2.375 to 3.000 in OD steel mast. All applicable Saddle Clamps are sold individually, only at DX Engineering. Off-brand clamps will not fit this plate.
