I used 48 feet of military surplus guyed aluminum mast and 90 feet of 14 gauge wire off the top to build an inverted L. I feed it with a DX engineering BAL050-H10-AT balun. I drove a 10 foot ground rod at the base and ran 3 counterpoises. I can load it anywhere but use it for 160 & 75. I put this antenna up in January in northern Michigan, and we all know the worse the weather the better the antenna works. 73, Gordon
