I installed the DXE-MBVE-1, vertical following your instructions almost to the letter, using your radial plate and DX-UN-43 UNUN. I planted 45 Radials, thirty 32’ radials and fifteen 65’ radials. I used 150’ of RG-213/U coax to feed the antenna. My radio and tuner are an Elecraft K2, with a KPA-100 Amplifier and KAT-100 tuner. To say that I am pleased with the results would be an understatement. I have 1.1-1 SWR on 30 Meters and 1.0:1 on all the other bands 160-10 Meters. While I am pleased with the low SWR, the real story is the reception, it is excellent. I love to work CW so having an antenna that lets me hear and work 1810 kHz is going to be very nice.
