Only 9 feet tall, my DX-Engineering DXE-ARAV2-1P broadband Active Receive Antenna is located next to a landscaping feature in my front yard. It augments my DXE 43 foot vertical, DXE tilt base, and DXE radial plate with 65 radials located in the back yard. I used custom-made, all weather F6 flooded 75 ohm coax cable from DX Engineering, which is extremely high quality and easy to work with. This DXE receive antenna makes a good all-frequency ham band or SWL antenna without taking up valuable space for transmit antennas. It is like having a free shot on goal!
