I used the DX Engineering DXE-SDS-300P Super Duty Saddle Clamps on my new SteppIR DB-36. I was not convinced that the stock SteppIR mast clamps would keep the antenna from slipping on the mast during major weather events that Louisville, KY has been attracting these days. It was tested 3 weeks later in a T storm with winds that hit 96 MPH. The antenna did not budge.
