This is my Hustler 5BTV, along with the DX Engineering Tilt Base, Ground Plate (w/21 Radials buried), and Vertical Feedline Current Choke. This is a fantastic antenna when constructed as suggested on DX Engineering's web site. All of the DX Engineering components work well together, and look great too. The guy lines might not be necessary in all applications, but they help keep out excessive sway from some substantial winds gust that we can get here in West Michigan. The gravel at the base is there to keep the grass from growing up through everything. I would recommend the Hustler BTV series of antennas with the DX Engineering system components to anyone.
