Here are some pictures showing the new directional RX antenna installation. It works VERY well! F/B is 25 to 30 dB 73, Tim K3LR DX Engineering’s Active Receive Antenna Systems offer excellent receiving performance from 100 kHz to 30 MHz while using only a 102" whip as the antenna element. A unique design makes it vastly superior to traditional active antennas in both strong signal handling and feedline decoupling. This results in significantly better weak signal reception due to lower spurious signal interference and reduced noise. Available in vertical or horizontal dipole configurations, the systems include a non-conductive mounting plate, active matching system, and the 102" stainless steel whip elements.
