In order to make a good bonded connection to the copper strap I use for tower grounding, I used the DX Engineering DXE-SSVC-150PG clamp and a piece of stainless steel I bought from the local hardware store. Since you don't want to place the copper against the galvanized tower leg, the stainless steel DXE-SSVC-150PG and the new piece of SS allowed me to effectively bond the copper strap by sandwiching the copper between the two with plenty of ant-oxidant.
