DX Engineering Secure Rotator Bolt Mount Kits Now Available
As experienced Ham Radio operators understand, every station component matters—from a 60-foot tower to a two-inch bolt. The team at DX Engineering knows that sweating the small stuff can solve big problems, like rotators that loosen when their fastening bolts fall out.
Standard bolts can back out over time due to vibration, leaving the rotator unsecured. The solution: DX Engineering Secure Mount Bolt Kits, featuring special stainless steel hex bolts with a coating on the threads that keeps them firmly in place, without the need for messy thread locker applications. The kits can be used to replace stock fasteners or for new installations.
The kits fit popular Hy-Gain HAM series (CD-45, HAM-IV, HAM-V, HAM-VI, HAM-VII, HAM-M) and Tailtwister (T-2X, T-2XD) rotators. They include either five 1/4-20 thread bolts (HAM series) or six 5/16-18 thread bolts (Tailtwister), flat washers and split washers.
