NTE Electronics Self-Solder Butt Splice Connectors Now Available at DX Engineering
Now you can make reliable wire connections without soldering with NTE Electronics Self-Solder Butt Splice Connectors from DX Engineering. These connectors have a solder ring with flux inside a transparent, adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve. Just insert the wires in each end of the connector, then heat the sleeve with an ordinary heat gun to make a permanent, waterproof connection—no soldering iron required. That makes these connectors ideal for making connections on equipment in the field or in your shack.
The connectors’ heat shrink sleeve has greater pull strength compared to vinyl or nylon insulated connectors. And since the sleeves are transparent you can visually inspect them to make sure the wires are fully connected—no guesswork or finger-crossing!
NTE Electronics Self-Solder Butt Splice Connectors are available for 10 to 26 AWG wire and are color-coded to industry-standard wire gauges. They come in packs of 50 or 100.
