SignaLink and High RF Interference
It has been reported when using the Tigertronics SignaLink USB unit in a very high RF environment, some RF may work its way into the SignaLink.
The easy fix is to install one DX Engineering DXE-CSB-750P Ferrite Bead on the cable (four loops of cable through the Ferrite Bead) running from your radio to the SignaLink USB radio input. Install the DXE-CSB-750P close to the rear of the SignaLink. The addition of this ferrite bead cured the reported problem.
July 2008 - Problem Reported: Icom 756 Pro III, RTTY, 1.5 kW power. Your results may vary.
