Add More Traction with a Powertrax Grip Pro Traction System for Dana 80 Axles
When you want added traction for daily commuting, recreation, work, or all the above in your Dana 80-equipped truck or van, the Powertrax Grip Pro Traction System is the answer.
The latest design in differential technology, the Powertrax Grip Pro Traction System transmits power to the wheels through a 3 × 2 helical cut spiral gear system. When wheel slippage occurs, torque automatically transfers to the tire with the most traction smoothly and quietly to keep moving the vehicle forward. Because it’s modulated by throttle input, the driver is always in full control of how much traction is being applied.
The Powertrax Grip Pro Traction System features a forged steel case for supreme strength and comes fully assembled and ready to install out of the box. Because the Grip Pro system does not contain friction plates, standard-type 80W-90 mineral gear oils with a GL-5 or higher rating are used—no expensive limited slip additives, shockproof lubes, or friction modifiers needed here. And since there are no clutches to wear out, maintenance is reduced and service life is increased—a big win-win any way you slice it.
