Add Some Thump to Your Small Block Ford with FLOTEK 185cc Thumper Cylinder Heads

FLOTEK’s 185cc Thumper Cylinder Heads for small block Ford pack a lot of performance in an affordable package. The aluminum heads have an intake runner design with a raised floor and roof configuration. This gives the incoming air and fuel a more direct shot at the intake valve, and also keeps the air/fuel charge attached to the runner’s short-side radius. That allows the engine to make more torque over a wider RPM range without sacrificing high RPM horsepower. It’s a neat trick.

The FLOTEK 185cc Thumper heads have 60cc combustion chambers designed to improve wet flow quality, or air/fuel atomization, that affects cylinder head efficiency. They also have exhaust ports that force exhaust flow to hug the floor for improved exhaust gas scavenging.

The heads accept stock-type intake manifolds and are available fully assembled with valves, springs, locks and retainers, valve seals, and rocker arm studs. Your choice of heads with valve springs for flat tappet or hydraulic roller camshafts. Bare castings are also available.

Thermactor plugs are not included. FLOTEK recommends Trick Flow Thermactor inserts.
