AFCO Adjustable Drag Struts: Dial In Better Weight Transfer to Reduce ETs

If you run a car with a strut-style front suspension, adding a set of AFCO Adjustable Drag Struts lets you dial in compression and rebound valving to improve weight transfer and get those elapsed times down where they should be. Summit Racing carries three types:

Big Gun Double-Adjustable Struts for Mustang and Camaro/Firebird
Big Gun double-adjustable monotube struts let you dial in compression and rebound valving to control front end lift. That improves weight transfer for better launches and reduced ETs. Features include:
• Fully independent compression and rebound adjustments
• 35mm piston diameter--up to 37% larger than competing struts
• Indexing compression adjuster for increased clearance options at strut base
• BNC compression valving to control bounce and wheelstanding on nose-heavy cars
• Rebuildable and revalvable as needed
• Locking coilover kit included

Big Gun Double-Adjustable Struts are available for 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird, 2010-15 Camaro, and 1979-2014 Mustang. Struts for Fox-body and SN-95 Mustangs come with a bolt-on spacer system.

Terminator Spindle-Mount Adjustable Struts
AFCO's Terminator Spindle-Mount Adjustable Struts are ideal for tube chassis cars. The struts come in three lengths to fit virtually every ride height. They can be retrofitted onto an existing chassis at the track or used on new builds that need to fit an existing jig. The struts feature independent compression and rebound adjustment with a detent for each setting.

Other features include:
• 46mm monotube design
• Pro-style coilover adjuster nut locks in place with an Allen wrench
• 1967-69 Camaro pin design fits most common wheels and disc brake kits

AFCO Terminator Spindle-Mount Adjustable Struts are available with an aluminum steering arm for better tire clearance or a competition-style steel steering arm so you can update your current chassis without having to shorten the tie rod assembly.

Terminator SS Spindle-Mount Adjustable Struts
The Terminator SS struts are available in two lengths for Super Stock-style cars. They have many of the same features as the other Terminator struts including independent compression and rebound adjustment, Pro-style coilover spring adjuster, and a 1967-69 Camaro pin design that fits most common wheels and disc brake kits.

• Choice of aluminum or steel steering arm
