ARB was born in the outback of Australia when Anthony Ronald Brown—Tony to his mates— discovered that the state of off-road gear circa 1975 was not up to the task of the extreme conditions 4x4 drivers encountered. Tony started making high quality bull bars and bumpers in his home garage, and as they say, the rest is history.

Air Locker Differentials
An ARB Air Locker gives you the best of both worlds. On the highway, it acts like a regular open differential so your vehicle handles and corners normally. When you need traction, the flip of a switch activates an on-board air compressor that pneumatically locks the differential, applying traction equally to each driven wheel. Put an ARB Air Locker in your front and rear axles and you’ll be darn-near unstoppable.

Summit Racing carries ARB Air Lockers for most popular GM, Ford, Dana, and AAM front and rear axles as well as Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, and Land Rover axle assemblies. Most lockers come with the differential, solenoid valve, air line, bulkhead fittings, and activation switch. We also carry ARB on-board and portable compressors to activate Air Lockers, sold separately.

Differential Covers
Protect those new ARB Air Lockers with ARB differential covers. Made from nodular iron (tougher and harder than carbon steel), the covers have a computer-optimized, cross-brace design that increases the structural rigidity of the entire axle. That rigidity also helps maintain proper ring and pinion gear mesh and carrier bearing alignment to greatly extend the life of those components. Other features include:

• Angled exterior surfaces help optimize approach/departure angles
• High-strength cap screws are recessed into the cover for impact protection
• Unique dipstick/filler cap design allows differential oil level to be adjusted for rotated differential housings
• Rare earth magnets on the drain plug and dipstick collect metallic particles
• Low-profile drain plug resists damage from obstacles

ARB Portable Fridge-Freezers
Coolers are OK for short trail rides. But if you are off the grid for long periods of time and dislike the idea of soggy sandwiches and warm beverages, you’re going to want an ARB portable fridge-freezer. These are true refrigerator/freezer units that can maintain sub-freezing temperatures in 90° F heat from a 12 V power source. They can be operated on 12/24V
DC power for in-vehicle use, and also on 120V AC so you can run it off a generator or solar panels at a campsite. Other features include:

Front Deluxe Bull Bars
ARB pioneered the bull bar to deal with the extremes of the Australian outback. The Deluxe Bull Bar is not a typical add-on brush guard—it integrates a guard and front bumper into a single unit. The bull bars feature 0.1 inch wall steel tubing that is CNC mandrel-bent for a precise fit, and all flat steel components are CNC-laser-cut, folded, and robotic-welded before the entire assembly is finish-welded on a jig. Most Deluxe Bull Bars for late model vehicles are designed to be airbag-compatible. This is a big deal when it comes to your protection. ARB assesses each vehicle's frontal crush characteristics and replicates the crush rate into the design of the bull bar so the airbags operate as designed while providing much better protection than most standard brush guards and grille guards.
