Auburn Gear Grip-N-Loc and Select-A-Loc Differentials: Traction in Limited Slip and Locker Flavors

All differentials are not created equal. Auburn Gear used its 60 years of traction experience to create the Grip-N-Loc and Select-A-Loc differentials. The American-made differentials have heat-treated, hardened-steel gears and heavy-duty cases that can handle extreme use. Auburn Gear backs them with a two-year limited warranty.

Grip-N-Loc
Choose the Grip-N-Loc if you like a traditional clutch-cone limited slip. It provides a 25% increase in traction over other clutch-style limited slip differentials, and the case is up to 50% stronger than OEM cases.

Available Axle Applications
• AMC Model 20
• Dana 44
• Chrysler 8.25, 8.75, 9.25/9.25 ZF

Select-A-Loc Electronic Lockers
If you like full lockers, ane electronically activated Select-A-Loc is for you. They have a heavy-duty case for safe, near-instant engagement while under full load,, and can be used in front and rear axles of four-wheel drive vehicles. The Select-A-Loc can be used with or without lockout hubs.

The Select-A-Loc is available in two versions. One acts like an open differential until you put it in full-locker mode. It's available for Dana 60, 70, and 80 axles and Toyota 9.5 inch axles.

The other version acts like a limited-slip differential until it goes full-locker. It's available for AMC Model 20; Dana 30, 35, 44/Super 44, and 50; Ford 8.8; and GM 8.5/8.6 and 8.875 car/truck axles.

Both require the use of Auburn Gear Differential Oil.
