Auburn Gear Pro Series Differential for 2015-19 Mustang GT Now Available at Summit Racing

Late model Mustangs and serious horsepower go together like rusty bolts and curse words. An Auburn Gear Pro Series Differential will help get that power to the ground, where it does the most good.

The Pro Series is a limited slip design that uses cone clutches coupled to bevel side gears and preload springs. As torque is transmitted through the side gears to the axle shafts, separating forces and spring preload firmly seat the cones into the differential case, providing torque to both wheels. When cornering, the side gear separating forces also decrease, allowing the axle shafts to rotate independently, delivering more torque to the wheel with the most traction.

What sets the Pro Series apart from other Auburn Gear diffs is the use of heavy-duty cone clutches and heavier preload springs, allowing the differential to react very quickly to tire slippage. That maximizes torque transfer to the wheels to help you launch better at the drags and grip the asphalt on the road course. As aggressive as the Pro Series is, it’s still very streetable.

The Auburn Gear Pro Series Differential fits 2015-19 Mustang GTs with the 8.8 inch IRS rear axle setup, and can be used with any ring and pinion gear ratio you wish.
