AutoMeter DashLink™ II Virtual Dashboard is Now Better than Ever

AutoMeter’s DashLink II is a nifty piece of tech. It uses Bluetooth® wireless technology to turn your Android or Apple iOS-compatible device into a virtual dashboard of your favorite AutoMeter gauges. It displays engine functions in real time—even functions like boost, air/fuel ratio, and transmission temperature the factory gauges don’t.

AutoMeter just expanded the DashLink II’s capabilities with these new features:

• Compatible with Ford applications through 2020
• Upgraded data logging that records automatically based on throttle position, MAP settings, and other parameters you set
• Upgraded GPS track mapping with line coloration defined by user-set parameters like horsepower and torque, throttle pedal position, and fuel mileage
• Share horsepower, quarter-mile, and other results with friends on Facebook

Here’s what else a DashLink II can do:

• Peak recall function
• Skidpad function shows lateral and acceleration/braking Gs with min/max indicators
• Rainbow Track Map visualizes your location, acceleration and braking as you drive around the track--compare different laps to see how acceleration and braking changed
• Inclinometer monitors pitch and roll when off-roading
• Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
• Trip computer maintains stats for up to 5 trips

DashLink II Functions
• Engine and vehicle speed
• Estimated horsepower and torque
• Engine coolant, intake air, ambient air, and catalytic converter temperature
• Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) and Mass Airflow
• Lambda/wideband air-fuel ratio
• Fuel pressure
• Ignition timing
• Fuel trim
• Engine load
• 0-60 MPH, 1/8- and 1/4-mile times
• Accelerometer
• Instant and average fuel economy
• Distance traveled and distance/time to empty
• Fuel level, fuel consumed, and average fuel flow
• Elapsed drive time and average speed
• Total and average CO2 emission rate

Installation is simple—insert the module into the vehicle’s OBDII port, install the DashLink II app on your device, sync them, and you’re ready to go. It does not modify your vehicle in any way and leaves no footprint behind when uninstalled.

The AutoMeter DashLink II works on most 1996 and later gas and diesel OBD-II/EOBD-compliant vehicles. It’s easily transferable from a smartphone to a tablet and from vehicle to vehicle.
