AutoMeter Makes It Easy to Convert Your Dash into a Digital Information Center
AutoMeter’s InVision Digital Dashes really are the easiest way to convert an analog dash to a modern digital display. Available in universal- and direct-fit versions, the InVision has a 12.3-inch LCD display and a joystick that lets you configure the readout for speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage in one of four display styles. You can even set parameters to trigger visual or audible alarms for low oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and high water temperature.
Other features include:
• On-screen indicators for high beams, turn signals, and check engine light
• Odometer and two trip meters
• Adjustable brightness for day and night viewing
• Speedometer easily calibrates to OEM or aftermarket vehicle speed sensors
• Seven user-selectable fuel level resistance ranges to match original and aftermarket sending units
Direct-Fit AutoMeter InVision Digital Dashes come with a direct-fit ABS dash panel, wiring harness, and sending units for water temperature and oil pressure. They’re available for these vehicles:
• 1969 Camaro
• 1982-87 El Camino and Monte Carlo, 1982-83 Malibu Classic
• 1967-68 Mustang
• 1971-73 Mustang
• 1987-93 Mustang
• 1972-76 Mopar A-body
• 1973-87 Chevy/GMC truck
• 1995-98 Chevy/GMC truck
• 1973-79 Ford F-Series truck
If you have a 1996 or later-model vehicle with OBDII, you can make installing the universal-fit InVision a plug-and-play deal with the AutoMeter CAN Bridge. Just plug it into your vehicle’s diagnostic port—the CAN Bridge captures sensor data and outputs for the tachometer, speedometer, fuel level, temperature, pressure, and voltage channels from the vehicle’s ECU and converts it for display on the InVision screen. Check out this AutoMeter CAN Bridge video to see how it works.
If you need to replace your InVision’s dash panel or wiring harness, Summit Racing carries replacements for those as well.
