Be Ready for Summertime Heat with a Be Cool Cooling Module

Summer may be a couple of months away, but your cooling system is already shaking in its copper-brass or aluminum boots. You can be ready for the heat by installing a Be Cool Cooling Module right now.

All modules feature an aluminum radiator with two rows of one inch diameter tubes that Be Cool says can lower engine temperatures at least 20 degrees F. The radiators are 40 percent lighter than OEM copper-brass units, have a billet aluminum filler neck and brass petcock, and feature epoxy-free construction for better heat dissipation and easier repairs. Many radiators are available with a built-in automatic transmission cooler.

Be Cool Cooling Modules come with a single or dual electric fan depending on application; a vented aluminum recovery tank; wiring harness with 40-amp relay; temperature sending unit; mounting brackets; and a radiator cap. Summit Racing carries several types of Cooling Modules, one of which is sure to keep your engine humming along and not boiling on the side of the road.

Direct-Fit Cooling Modules
With 342 versions available, chances are good we have a Direct-Fit Cooling Module to fit your classic or later model American car or light truck. Designed for engines making 400 to 700 horsepower (depending on application), the Direct-Fit Cooling Modules have a polished radiator that drops in place with no fabrication required. Modules for GM LS- and LT-series engines are also available.

Aluminator Series Cooling Modules
The Aluminator Cooling Modules are also direct-fit, but are rated for engines making up to 350 horsepower and fit fewer applications than the Direct-Fit modules. If you have one of those vehicles, that can save you some money without sacrificing cooling capacity. Aluminator Modules feature a natural-finish aluminum radiator and a single puller-style electric fan.

Show & Go Cooling Modules
Be Cool Show & Go Modules look as good as they cool. They come with a direct-fit polished radiator, polished recovery tank, polished radiator cap, and chrome or black fans with billet motor covers. Some modules also include a chromed plastic fan shroud for a little extra sparkle. The modules can cool engines from 400 to 700 horsepower.

Extreme Cooling Modules
If a Show & Go Module isn’t quite enough, an Extreme Module is perfect. The come factory-assembled with a polished aluminum radiator bolted to a direct-fit aluminum core support; dual 11 inch high-torque fans with billet motor covers; fabricated coolant recovery and windshield washer fluid reservoirs; and stainless steel or polished aluminum fan mounting brackets. Extreme Cooling Modules can handle engines making up to 1,000 horsepower.

Summit Racing also carries Be Cool Cooling Modules for LS engine swaps in these vehicles:
• 1967-81 Camaro and Firebird
• 1963-72 Corvette
• 1968-79 Nova
• 1959-64 Chevy full size passenger car
