Better Exhaust Scavenging with Kooks Long Tube Headers
When you’re building horsepower, full length (aka long tube) headers are the way to go. Long tube headers use the engine's exhaust pulses to pull exhaust gas from the cylinder and optimize scavenging. Improved scavenging helps the engine pull in fresh air and fuel into the cylinders quicker. Better breathing improves horsepower production.
Kooks makes some nice long tube headers. Made from mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel or 18 gauge steel, the headers have primary tubes tuned to specific engine and vehicle combinations to maximize breathing and horsepower.
Kooks long tube headers are available for many domestic cars and trucks built from 1963 to 2015 including these:

• 1967-69 and 2010-14 Camaro
