The SPC Ford blocks are built like Tiger tanks. They are cast from German class 35 gray iron and have extra thick material where it counts the most. This gives them loads more strength than factory Ford castings, allowing them to safely handle up to 1,000 horsepower.

For 302-style builds, choose one of the 8.2-inch deck height models in your choice of 4.0- or 4.125-inch cylinder bores. If you’re a 351W-based guy, you’ll want the 9.5-inch deck height version with a 4.125-inch bore.

The Summit Racing™ SPC Small Block Ford Engine Blocks ship with cylinder bores that are .005 inches undersize so you can final-hone them for proper piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. All blocks require SVO-type cam bearings with 2.204-inch housings (sold separately).
