Billet Specialties LS Valve Cover Conversion Kit and Adapters Now Available at Summit Racing

Swapping a GM LS engine into your classic musclecar or truck is a great way to get big power that older V8s wish they could make. But the LS engine is not the prettiest face to ever come out of The General. One way to de-uglify your LS is with a set of Gen 1 small block Chevy valve covers—and we have two ways to go that route thanks to Billet Specialties.

LS Valve Cover Conversion Kit
This Billet Specialties conversion kit lets you use Gen 1 small block style perimeter valve covers. The billet adapter plates hide those ugly ignition coils under the valve covers, and have hidden recessed wire channels so you can route the ignition wires where they need to go. Other features include:
• Works with large LS3 coils (AC Delco D514A)
• Uses factory LS valve cover gasket for a leak-free seal
• Hidden oil fill cap on each side for ease of access
• Stainless steel hardware included

Valve Cover Adapters
Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, these adapters allow the use of standard small block Chevrolet valve covers on your LS engine. They use OEM LS valve cover gaskets where they meet the cylinder heads and standard Gen 1 cork valve cover gaskets up top. You will need to remote-mount the ignition coils when using these adapters. Stainless steel hardware is included.
