Summit Racing™ Manual Transmission Bellhousings for Chevy
Whether you’re replacing a worn-out original or swapping a late-model six-speed into your Chevy-powered ride, get yourself a Summit Racing™ Manual Transmission Bellhousing. The bellhousings feature all-new aluminum construction CNC-machined to precise tolerances for an exact fit. The ribbed castings are strong so they don’t flex. This keeps the transmission perfectly parallel with the driveline, making sure the clutch is aligned for smoother shifting. It also helps to decrease wear on internal transmission components. 

The Summit Racing™ Manual Transmission Bellhousings are available in two versions: 

The 621-Style Bellhousing fits 1958-81 GM cars and trucks equipped with small and big block Chevy V8 engines and Borg Warner T-10, Muncie M-21/M-22, or Saginaw transmissions. It’s compatible with OEM-type starters when using an 11-inch clutch and 168-tooth flywheel. For other combos, a mini starter is recommended. 

The LS Bellhousing allows Tremec T-56 and T-56 Magnum transmissions to be used on 1997-2019 GM LS engines. It won’t work on 1992-97 GMT LT1 engines.
