Brisk USA Spark Plugs Now Available at Summit Racing
Brisk USA might not be a household name for spark plugs here in the USA, but we think that will change once racers and hot rodders get ahold of its products. The Czech Republic-based company is an OEM supplier to Lamborghini, VW, Volvo, Audi, and Husqvarna, and has taken a different road to making spark plugs.
Brisk spark plugs incorporate the ground electrode as part of the shell. That improves heat removal from the active part of the spark plug, improving resistance to pre-ignition and electrode burnoff. Most Brisk plugs have a silver center electrode that transfers spark energy more efficiently than any other metal. And Brisk is really good at creating different electrode designs tailored for specific applications. No wonder Pat Musi Racing now installs Brisk plugs in every race engine it builds.
Summit Racing carries a large selection of Brisk USA spark plugs including these:
Silver Racing Spark Plugs
Brisk Silver Racing spark plugs have a fine wire center electrode and a tapered ground electrode, so they require less ignition voltage to create a big spark. This makes the plugs ideal for use with factory-type ignition systems in modified engines. The plug design also improves cold starting and resists fouling caused by prolonged idling, air/fuel management issues, and excessive oil consumption. Silver Racing Spark Plugs are also a good choice for race engines running hard-to-ignite fuels like methanol and E85 or a power adder like a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous.
LGS Spark Plugs
Conventional spark plugs have an extended ground electrode that restricts the area where spark discharge occurs. LGS Spark Plugs have a ground electrode design that uncovers the tip of the center electrode and allows the spark to ‘glide’ along the surface of the insulator. That creates a long-duration spark that can occur at almost any point at the tip of the plug for quicker lightoff of the air/fuel mixture. The gap between the ground electrodes also acts as a capacitor, accumulating more ignition energy prior to spark discharge. That makes it ideal for use on engines with large (.036 inch or larger) gap settings.
Premium EVO Spark Plugs
Brisk Premium Evo Spark Plugs have an auxiliary electrode at the tip of the insulator surrounded by multiple ground electrodes with tapered ends. This open, unrestricted spark can produce two simultaneous sparks or one large spark for each ignition voltage impulse based on conditions in the combustion chamber. That means a more complete and consistent burn of the air/fuel mixture for improved power and fuel efficiency. The design also increases plug life and requires less voltage from the ignition system over the life of the plug.
Multi-Spark Plugs
Brisk says its Multi-Spark Plug is the only one in the world that can produce three sparks per one ignition impulse. The design eliminates a conventional ground electrode, fully exposing the center electrode to the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. That center electrode features three gaps arranged in series to create three simultaneous sparks per ignition impulse. Each spark can happen anywhere on the firing end of the spark plug, creating three flame fronts. That result is more rapid and complete combustion of the available air and fuel, improving power output and throttle response.
If you run a multiple-spark discharge ignition, Brisk says the Multi-Spark plug creates three times the spark on the tip of the plug over your ignition box alone, with no increase in voltage.

Summit Racing also carries Brisk Iridium Racing Spark Plugs ideal for high-compression, high-boost racing engines and YTE Spark Plugs with a three-electrode design that helps improve fuel mileage in street-driven engines.
