Build a Better Chevy C10 or C1500 with Level 7 Motorsports Components

Level 7 Motorsports is a family-owned hot rod shop located in the southern Illinois countryside. In addition to building cars and doing engine swaps, owner Jesse Vaughn builds some killer Pro Touring Chevy pickups and takes them road racing and autocrossing. Jesse took the experience building those trucks and created components to help you build a better C10 or C1500. Here are some of the parts available at Summit Racing:

Billet Aluminum Cab Mounts
Level 7 Motorsports developed its Billet Aluminum Cab Mounts to provide solid mounting points for installing a roll cage. By solidly tying the cab to the frame, the mounts turn the cab into an integral part of the frame. That greatly increases chassis rigidity.

The mounts sit between the cab and the frame just like the originals. An thin steel washer sits on top of each mount to keep the cab body from digging into the aluminum. A 1/4-inch thick washer sits between the mount and the bottom of the frame. A 1/2-inch ARP stainless steel bolt passes through the frame bracket to secure the mount. Your truck’s cab floor, support rails, and inner rockers need to be solid to get the most out of Level 7 Motorsports Billet Aluminum Cab Mounts. Boxing or reinforcing the frame may also be required. Use plenty of anti-seize on the bolt threads to prevent galling.

High Hump Transmission Tunnels for 1960-72 C10
Made from heavy-duty fiberglass, the Level 7 Motorsports High Hump Transmission Tunnels provide then room needed to mount a Tremec TKO, TKX, or T-56 manual transmission high enough to get the pinion angles correct on a truck that has been significantly lowered. The tunnel for 1967-72 C10s is a reproduction of the factory high-hump cover, but is extended to cover T-56 transmissions.

Drive-By-Wire Throttle Pedal Brackets for 1967-87 C10
If you’ve swapped an LS with a drive-by-wire throttle body in your truck, you’ll need a way to mount a DBW throttle pedal to control it. Level 7 Motorsports Throttle Pedal Brackets allow you to fit a 2005-13 Corvette pedal in the factory pedal location. ARP stainless steel mounting bolts are included.

Billet Door Strikers
Replace your worn-out door strikers with some nice shiny Level 7 Motorsports Billet Door Strikers. Your doors will close nicely again and you’ll have something cool to look at. You get two billet aluminum strikers, billet washers, and plastic wear sleeves. They’re available for 1973-98 Chevy C10/C1500 and 1973-79 Ford F100.
