Build a Cold Air Intake and Check Some Bores with These New Summit Racing Brand Products
If you want to try your hand at building a cold air intake or need a quality tool to measure engine cylinders and other bores—or both—we’ve got you covered with these new Summit Racing Brand products.
Summit Racing™ Silicone Hose Couplers
Summit Racing Silicone Hose Couplers are ideal for building air intakes, turbocharger plumbing, and cooling systems. They are made from four-ply polyester-reinforced silicone for excellent heat and pressure resistance. The couplers are available in straight, 45° elbow, 90° elbow, and hump styles in multiple inlet and outlet diameters.
Summit Racing™ Aluminum Air Intake Tubing
You can fabricate cold air intakes or intercooling plumbing to your heart’s content with our aluminum intake tubing. The T6063 aluminum tubing comes in your choice of polished or black textured finishes in these styles in multiple inlet and outlet sizes. The tubing works great with our Silicone Couplers, too.

Summit Racing™ Pro LS Dial Bore Gauge
You can use the Pro LS Dial Bore Gauge to measure rod bores, main bearings, and cylinder bores with precision. The gauge allows precise three-point measurements to within .0001 (one-ten-thousandths) of an inch. It can be used on bores from two to six inches in diameter and up to six inches deep—ideal for checking cylinder bores for taper. The gauge comes with 12 anvils in .200 inch increments from two to six inches. We suggest setting the gauge to zero using a known master anvil or micrometer for the most accurate measurements possible.
