Build a High-Flow, Ground Clearing Exhaust with Vibrant Oval Exhaust Tubing
Fitting a big three inch or larger exhaust system on a high performance street machine or a race car is easy. Fitting one that doesn’t scrape the pavement is a problem—or more correctly, used to be a problem before Vibrant Performance decided to make its oval exhaust tubing.
The tubing is made from 16 gauge T304 stainless steel and is mandrel-bent for maximum exhaust flow. The tubing has six inch long ‘legs’ and is available with 45 or 90 degree horizontal or vertical bends.
The oval tubing is available in diameters that equal three and 3.5 inch diameter round tubing. For example, the three inch oval tubing actually measures 2.125 x 3.5 inches.
