Cool Down Your Insides with Heatshield Stealth Floorpan Heat Shields
Heat rises. Always has—it’s one of those physics things that’s indisputable. It’s also why the heat from the exhaust system on a car or truck always radiates upwards through the floorboards and into the interior, decreasing the comfort level of the passengers inside. If your vehicle has A/C, it’ll also make the system work harder and limit the amount of cool air felt by everyone inside.
Heatshield Products has a way for you to reduce this unwanted heat. It’s called HP Stealth Shield™, and it stops up to 80 percent of the heat trying to come through the floor. Made from fiberglass and carbon, this heat shield is very efficient and super thin, barely 1/8 inch thick. HP Stealth Shield can withstand temperatures up to 1,800° F continuous, so it’s more than capable of handling any high temperatures your car or truck will experience.
HP Stealth Shield mounts easily to the vehicle floorboards under the carpet; if your vehicle is equipped with a factory sound deadener, it can be applied directly over top of that. Because HP Stealth Shield is so thin, it fits easily under the factory carpet without affecting its fitment.
HP Stealth Shield can easily be trimmed to size with a utility knife. In cases where you feel unwanted heat from above, you can also use it to insulate your vehicle’s roof by installing it between the headliner and roof with an adhesive spray (sold separately).
