You have to disassemble the unit, press out the old bearing and press in the new one (or more likely, have it done), and put everything back together. Knuckle Assemblies
Steering and suspension knuckles are another wear item that can require the use of a heavy-duty shop press to remove and replace the bearing. If the knuckle assembly is full of rust (which is often the case), the job will take even longer.
