Dump Your F-150 with a Ridetech Lowering Suspension System
Get your 2015 and later F-150 closer to the pavement—and improve its handling at the same time—with a Ridetech Lowering Suspension System. The bolt-on system can be installed in a home garage with basic hand tools; RideTech says it will take six to eight hours to complete.
In exchange for your time and labor you get a fully adjustable suspension that allows you to lower your truck up to three inches in the front and five in the rear, adjust ride height to your liking, and improve both handling and ride quality. Here’s what Ridetech puts into their kits:
• Tubular front upper control arms provide camber and caster improvements at lower ride
height to improve handling
• RideTech/Fox adjustable monotube coilover front shocks with Hyperco springs
• RideTech HQ Series adjustable rear monotube shocks
• Rear flip kit
• Adjustable coilover spring seats and rear leaf shackles to set ride height
• All necessary brackets and hardware included
You can further improve your F-150’s handling and load carrying with these Ridetech upgrades:
The Traction Bar Kit eliminates wheel hop and tire chatter for smooth acceleration from a straight line and coming out of a corner. You also keep your truck’s full load capacity.
The MuscleBar Rear Sway Bar improves cornering even further. The 1.125 inch diameter bar features Delrin-lined frame mount bushings, investment cast steel bar ends, and spherical end links with barrel lock nuts.
The Air Assist Load Leveling Kit uses air springs to improve the stability, ride quality, and braking of your truck when hauling or towing. They provide load support through the use of air pressure that can automatically adjust for changing loads.
The Headlight Sensor Bracket Relocation Kit repositions the factory headlight sensors to maintain their function with your now-lowered truck.
The Ridetech Lowering Suspension Systems are available for two- and four-wheel drive trucks (non-Super Duty).
