Dupli-Color Rust Treatments Now Available at Summit Racing

Rust. It starts with a miniscule scratch—an unassuming and seemingly minor flaw until it’s exposed to the elements. The resulting oxidation and corrosion can snowball quickly, turning minor flaws into major damage.

Not a fan? We’re not either. That’s why we like the Rust Treatment line from Dupli-Color. With 80 years of experience in the automotive coating industry, they have the products you need to protect and restore your ride.

Dupli-Color Rust Fix
Dupli-Color Rust Fix sprays on clear and bonds directly to the rusted surface. As it dries, it transforms into a black protective coating that can be sanded, painted, and counted on to prevent future rust from forming. It eliminates the need to sand down to bare metal, leaving you lots of time to use it on every rust covered surface in sight.

Dupli-Color Rust Barrier Coating
This easy-to-use paint protectant seals in corrosion and provides an abrasive, impact-resistant, flexible rubberized finish for ultimate rust protection. It can be applied directly over any rusted or bare metal surface using an HVLP gun, brush, roller, or aerosol spray. It dries as a dense, impenetrable overlay that can even be used as a top coat on areas exposed to increased UV light. Available in a variety of colors, finishes, and container sizes.

Dupli-Color Rust Eliminator
This concentrated, water-based formula eliminates rust from all your metal surfaces with a biodegradable gel that won’t damage the environment. Pretty cool, but it gets even better. The gel formula is reusable; after soaking your rusty metal in the gel, you can pour the used Rust Eliminator liquid back into your container for future projects—saving the green in your pockets and the green on the trees. Goes on vertical surfaces with a mess-free application. Available in multiple sizes as a liquid, gel, or spray gel formula.
