Edge Products Diesel Performance Packages Now Available at Summit Racing

Improving the performance of your diesel-powered truck just got simpler thanks to Edge Products’ Diesel Performance Packages. The Stage 1 packages combine a programmer and a matched cold air intake for easy, bolt-on performance gains that you can really feel. Get a Stage 2 package and you’ll get the programmer, cold air intake, and a cat-back exhaust system. It’s like winning the horsepower trifecta.

Stage 1 Performance Packages
The Stage 1 packages include an Evolution programmer and a Jammer Cold Air Intake system. The Evolution comes with three power tunes—Transmission Only, Tow, and High Performance—that can be programmed into your vehicle’s ECU via the OBDII port. Other features include:
• Monitor vital engine data such as engine load, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and transmission fluid temperature
• Display and clear diagnostic trouble codes
• Adjust speed and rev limiter
• Adjust transmission shift points and pressure
• Adjust tire size and gear ratio for proper shifting
• Perform 0-60, quarter-mile, eighth-mile, and 60 ft. performance tests and reaction times
• Graph up to 60 seconds of streaming vehicle data on your PC

The Jammer Cold Air Intake design was engineered to move the intake box away from the engine’s heat to catch cooler outside air. Cooler air brings more oxygen (denser air) into the engine, which improves engine efficiency and increases horsepower, especially in combination with an Evolution tune.

Stage 2 Performance Packages
These kits also have a Jammer cold air intake, but have the upgraded Evolution CTS2 programmer, and the Diesel Jammer cat-back exhaust system. Together they can add up to 180 horsepower and 440 lbs.-ft. of torque depending on the vehicle.
The Evolution CTS2 programmer offers these features:
• 5” full-color, high-resolution screen
• Tuning for mileage, towing, daily driving, and performance
• Custom color mixer for gauge arcs, needles, and backgrounds
• Multiple gauge screen layouts
• Eliminates dead pedal
• Display and clear diagnostic trouble codes
• Adjust speed and rev limiter
• Adjust transmission shift points and pressure
• Adjust tire size and gear ratio for proper shifting

The Diesel Jammer exhaust system features mandrel bent stainless steel tubing and large chamber stainless steel muffler. The system will reduce EGTs and decrease backpressure for improved airflow. You also get a four or five inch diameter chrome tip depending on the application.
