Modern cams, especially performance-oriented ones, are designed with higher lift, duration, and aggressive ramp rates. Your current valve springs might not be stiff enough to handle the increased power—leading to valve float, coil bind, or worse.
COMP Cams G2 Valve Springs represent extensive work by the COMP Cams’ engineering team. Designed to handle high lift rates without compromising valvetrain stability, the G2 springs are made premium materials and given COMP’s Superfinishing Process that increases the spring durability and life.
G2 Valve springs are available in single and dual versions, with or without dampers. They are available in sets of 16 for V8 engines, sets of 12 for six-cylinders, and individually.
