Anti-drainback valves were later incorporated to prevent oil from draining into the oil pan when the engine was shut off, ensuring an immediate supply of oil when the engine was restarted.

Inverted Remote Oil Filter Mount
The Baxter Performance Inverted Remote Oil Filter Mount makes oil filter changes easy by allowing you to mount the filter anywhere. It also makes things less messy by eliminating spillage. Mounting the filter in a cooler location can also help lower oil temperatures, thereby enhancing engine performance and prolonging oil life.

The mount is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and allows oil connections to be made on the left, right, or bottom. The included aluminum mounting bracket can be rotated in 90-degree increments for mounting flexibility. Other features include:
