FiTech Go EFI 2 Barrel 400HP EFI System Now Available at Summit Racing

There are two good uses we can think of for FiTech’s Go EFI 2 Barrel 400HP EFI system. The first is as an EFI swap for six-cylinder and mild V8 street engines. The second is as a replacement for the finicky carburetors on vintage hot rod engines like Model A four-bangers, Chevy/GMC inline sixes and of course, Ford flathead V8s. Get creative with an air cleaner setup and folks giving your car a casual glance won’t realize you’re running EFI.

Either way, the FiTech Go EFI 2 Barrel will give you reliable, throttle-responsive performance without the cold-start and tuning issues a carburetor can have. The gold-anodized throttle body houses the two fuel injectors, the ECU, the Idle Air Control motor, and the MAP, TPS, and IAT sensors. You set up the engine parameters with the included hand-held tuner; the system will self-learn as you drive, and you can fine-tune the air/fuel ratio on the fly. Try that with a carburetor.

• Voltage Control fuel pump control reduces the voltage to the fuel pump under low load conditions such as idle and cruise to keep fuel cooler and extend pump life

The FiTech Go EFI 2 Barrel system fits intake manifolds with a Holley 2300 bolt pattern, and adapters to fit a 2300-style carb on other manifolds are readily available at Summit Racing.
