Ford Performance Parts Super 8.8 IRS Loaded Differential Housing Now Available
Whether you blew up the differential in your 2015-17 Mustang—or plan to make enough horsepower to do so—a Ford Performance Parts Super 8.8 IRS Loaded Differential Housing would be a wise upgrade. Standard equipment on the 2019 Mustang, it features a cast iron housing loaded with a forged and CNC-cut 3.55 ratio gear set and a Traction-Lok differential to get the power to the asphalt. You also get a cast aluminum cover.
The Super 8.8 IRS Loaded Differential Housing has pinion flange with a 93mm bolt circle and a 110mm driveshaft pilot. You will need a FR3Z-4851-B pinion flange, available at your friendly Ford dealer, to install one on a 2015-2017 Mustang with a 95mm bolt circle pinion flange and a 113mm driveshaft pilot. Custom calibration will be required to make speedometer and shifter corrections.
