The kits work like this: Your engine’s stock fuel pump fills the surge tank with gas from the vehicle’s main tank. Keep your GM vehicle’s transmission mounted rock solid with a Summit Racing™ Tubular GM Transmission Mount. Available in straight and in two- or four-inch dropped configurations, the mounts do double duty securing your transmission and acting as a crossmember to stiffen up your chassis. 

Summit Racing™ Tubular GM Transmission Mounts require drilling, welding, and fabrication for installation. They fit vehicles with chassis rails spaced between 26-38 inches apart and are available with or without polyurethane mounts.
